Great menu selections. Also have kids menu. Their shrimp taco and shrimp & chips were the best. The place has a wonderful ambiance with a beautiful view of the water outside. The patio seating I believe is the best place to eat. The service was excellent.

Awesome atmosphere, food and service. Oysters on the half shell, shrimp ceviche, peel n eat garlic shrimp, catch of the day Red Snapper sandwich lightly blackened. Delicious. Bartender Marissa was spot on. GM Mike was an amazing host. Also highly recommend burger -best around, wedge salad is the best, coconut shrimp also a favorite.
Good food and scenic views by the River. A visit is well worth it. I am giving this 5*, but with a caveat. Prices. This places has been around for a very long time, but when Wellen Park and the gated communities around River Road were built up, they renovated and adjusted their menu to the clientele, which is wealthy old people from up north. So, you won’t find as many locals there anymore. Still a great place to dine once in a while.
Such a fun place! Individual tikis on the water, live music, great food, lots of atmosphere. We loved the oysters Rockefeller, trout and red snapper. Lots of room at the docks, we will dock and dine next time!
Great views for casual dining experience! When I walked in and look lost a cheerful staff member from the kitchen came out to direct me to the outdoor eating area where my friend was waiting. Friendly banter set the tone for a pleasant luncheon. We sat outdoors and they have elevated picnic tables so you're sitting at belly bar height or bar stool height at the end where they have a small stage where they have a guitarist or a combo out there in the early evenings. We were there in early afternoon so there was no music on but if there were Palapa umbrellas and it was a gorgeous view of the river. There's a diverse menu something for everyone I had a grouper sandwich that came with fries and all the fixings my friend had a shrimp quesadilla and we each had a beer mine I had a hazy IPA she had a Corona and it was decently priced. Figure for a beer and an entree, good sized plates too. Service was friendly, not a long wait coming out of the kitchen, food appeared fresh and was very tasty. My sandwich was a fried fish piece and I appreciate that it was not greasy at all it was light fluffy battered and very nice. Prices were decent, I think it was about 45 bucks for two people to enjoy a beer each and a very hearty entree. No need for a big dinner after, that's for sure! I think it would be a very cute place to go and enjoy cocktails by the water and maybe a little bit of music and I would definitely return for lunch it was an enjoyable experience.
We had a fantastic experience! Friendly servers! The owner stopped over and checked on us, too. Super friendly and attentive staff. Our meal was so good! The walleye was perfect! I am from Minnesota and know good walleye. I got it fried. So good! We ate inside, in the newly renovated dining room. Beautiful decor. Nice views, too. We will be back! Good job, Tarpon Point!
We have been here twice and both visits did not disappoint. The bartender Matt is very friendly. The service is great the staff are friendly as well. The food is on point. The calamari is fresh not frozen with a light batter. Which is hard to find fresh calamari most are flash frozen then fried. I could on and on but my point is if you haven't tried this establishment you are missing out on a hidden gem! We will continue to go back.
The food was fantastic! Breading was light and crispy on the fish, hushpuppies, and shrimp. And the key lime pie was thick and creamy! We’ll definitely be back.
